First and foremost, we’ve finally got shop jerseys again! These Primal jerseys came out awesome. And priced at $64.99 it’s a cheap way to get a great high quality jersey.

In addition to jerseys, we’ve also doing Class Cycles Camelbak water bottles. If you’re not familiar with them, these bottles feature what Camelbak calls a “Jet Valve” which is a self sealing valve. No more biting open your water bottles and spilling drink mix all over yourself (or maybe only I do that). Just squeeze the bottom and you’re on your way. 2 Great options, 24 oz. clear, and 25 oz. insulated. $9.99 and $14.99 respectively.

Repair Classes

Class Cycles repair class are in full swing. For those unfamiliar with the program we offer 3 different classes. The first goes over the basics of bicycle repair including adjustments of the shifting and braking systems. The second class gets more into the fine tuning of the bicycle including bearing adjustments such as the headset and bottom bracket, and more difficult repairs such as wheel truing. The 3rd class is open ended and great if you have something specific not covered by the first two classes you want to learn. In previous years customers have used this class to learn chain replacement, frame prepping, and other less common jobs.

Classes begin at 6:30pm and run for 2 hours. You can choose to bring your own bike or not, though most find it is useful to 1. work with a familiar drivetrain and 2. more useful to apply the skills they learned to the real world when they learn on the bike they’ll need to apply them to.

Classes are limited to 4 people per class ensuring everyone gets the personal attention they need to be successful with the class.

Cost of the classes is based on the number you take. If you take a single class it is 50 dollars. If you take two classes the total is 80 dollars (40 a class), and if you take all three the total cost is 110 dollars (a little over 36 dollars a class). Class dates can be found below or on the shop calendar.

Class 1:
2/7 2/9 2/14 2/14

Class 2:
2/21 2/23 2/28 3/1

Class 3:
3/6 3/9 3/13 3/15

To sign up for ask questions please call the shop at 203-264-4708 or email us at support@class-cycles.com

Shop T-Shirts Are In!

<dc:subject>News</dc:subject>

Class Cycles T-Shirts are in! We went over the basics of bike safety, gear, things to look for on your bike before you ride and some basic maintenance. The boys (and even their brother’s and sisters) walked out with water bottles, tools to fix flats, and a couple even picked out new helmets. Class Cycles is always happy to help out with Scouting. Greg is an Eagle Scout and is happy to help out with Cycling Merit Badge courses.
